  • Remy Loh, Founder & Director

    Born and raised in Penang, Remy travelled across the country to start his florist business in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. In 2012, ʜᴀɴᴀᴋᴏʏᴀ™ was born. In 2017, ʜᴀɴᴀᴋᴏʏᴀ™ Flower Café came into the picture. In 2021, ʜᴀɴᴀᴋᴏʏᴀ™ made a homeward bound journey when it launched its 1st branch in Georgetown, Penang. The new branch adapts to the luscious local culture, with the brand being housed in a century-old heritage building. Remy’s success multiplies as ʜᴀɴᴀᴋᴏʏᴀ™ continues to expand into other states in the country. 2022 marks the 15th year of Remy’s venture in floristry.

  • Vivian Wong, General Manager & Head of Division, ʜᴀɴᴀᴋᴏʏᴀ™ Preserved Bar

    Dedicated, determined, disciplined, adventurous, Vivian’s performance in her years with ʜᴀɴᴀᴋᴏʏᴀ™ is beyond admirable. She is eager to seek new ways to improve herself as well as the brand, every single day, while leading the team towards great achievements. Vivian is skilled in floral arrangements, and her profession is in Preserved florals. She provides prolific opportunities through ʜᴀɴᴀᴋᴏʏᴀ™ Preserved Bar, elevating the brand as a whole. Vivian takes responsibility in overall operations for both the florist and café in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.

  • Jacquline Ng, Senior Florist & Head of Division, ʜᴀɴᴀᴋᴏʏᴀ™ Balloon Bar

    With her time in ʜᴀɴᴀᴋᴏʏᴀ™, Jacquline made a fair contribution to the creativity of the brand and its products. Her attention to detail is otherworldly. Besides her role as a senior florist, Jacquline’s profession is in designing balloons. That means, anything fun-related, she’s got you covered. Parties, birthdays, corporate events, weddings… The list goes on. Jacquline’s imagination sparks wonderful and practical ideas, which allows ʜᴀɴᴀᴋᴏʏᴀ™’s products to truly sell.

  • Michelle Chia, Senior Florist & Customer Service

    2022 marked the beginning of an artistic journey for Michelle with ʜᴀɴᴀᴋᴏʏᴀ™. Michelle is passionate and highly determined. It took little to no time for her to adapt to the working environment as well as learn the necessary skills as a florist. With her time here in ʜᴀɴᴀᴋᴏʏᴀ™, Michelle’s advancement is at brisk and truly evident on a daily basis.

  • Mick Boon, Director

    Born and raised in Penang, Mick began his journey in Sabah as he joined the ʜᴀɴᴀᴋᴏʏᴀ™ Team in 2017, when ʜᴀɴᴀᴋᴏʏᴀ™ Flower Café made its debut. His professional experience and background in hospitality and management allowed the company drastic growth and a substantial vision. ʜᴀɴᴀᴋᴏʏᴀ™ Flower Café’s success is tied very closely to Mick’s leadership and guidance. With Mick’s expertise, ʜᴀɴᴀᴋᴏʏᴀ™ Flower Café successfully made expansion into Penang in 2021. Mick continues to strive and shine in his work fuelled by burning passion.

  • Angela Yu, General Manager

    Angela footprints in ʜᴀɴᴀᴋᴏʏᴀ™ begun in 2019, during relocation from The Peak Suites (former location) to Metro Town (current location). Angela oversees the overall management and flow of the café. On a day-to-day basis, you may easily spot Angela at the top of her game -feeding and serving customers with smiles. Her ever-growing dedication and eagerness has contributed extensively to the company. Angela is a talent, and a Jill of all trades. 2022 marks Angela’s 4th year with ʜᴀɴᴀᴋᴏʏᴀ™ Flower Café, and she continues to show massive commitment in a consistent manner.

  • Caleb Thein, Head Chef

    Passionate, creative and absolutely fun to be around with, Caleb is in-charged of everything the menu writes and anything that exits the kitchen, served to your table. Caleb brings joy and smiles to the team, as well as happy paying tummies. The chef’s outlook towards the making of food is highly similar to that of his perspective towards life. He wears his heart on his sleeve, and is never seen without his cheeky black uniform. With Caleb on board, ʜᴀɴᴀᴋᴏʏᴀ™ Flower Café is looking at a constant rise in growth that is never before witnessed.

  • Tonny Sim, Sous Chef

    Although shy at times, Tonny is highly experienced and dedicated to his work as a chef. Working closely with Caleb, the duo is able to creatively achieve compliments and feedbacks. When seen together, Tonny and Caleb make the best-looking bromance duo -undeniably adorable. Thanks to Tonny’s contribution, the kitchen works at a smooth flow while delivering delicious food to happy customers. Tonny’s time in ʜᴀɴᴀᴋᴏʏᴀ™ Flower Café is only a beginning towards achieving excellence.
